Marianne Lloyd is a professor of psychology at Seton Hall University in South Orange, N.J. She received her Ph.D. in cognitive psychology from Binghamton University. Her primary teaching assignments in psychology include statistics, research methods, and sensation and perception. She also teaches the first of SHU’s signature courses: The Journey of Transformation. Although much of her research is in basic recognition memory, she has recently started work investigating how meditation and beliefs impact cognitive performance.
